DRILLING OF ARTESIAN WELLS IN THE OUTAOUAIS
Since 2004, Puisatier Carol Carrière has been drilling and installing artesian wells for residents and businesses located in the MRC des-Collines de l'Outaouais territory as well as the greater Outaouais region. In terms of water supply systems, the artesian well is the solution par excellence. It has the advantage of being stable: it usually maintains a constant flow throughout the year and is less prone to bacterial contamination than surface wells. To create an artesian well, we drill through a layer of the ground in order to reach a pressurized groundwater table. Usually located at a depth of more than 100 feet, this water table is both more abundant and drinkable than surface water.
